Awesome! I got into my Creative Writing course!

So the on-going drama in my latest blogs involved me trying to get into this Creative Writing class offered by my university. I submitted a portfolio at the beginning of August though I have to admit I thought I had little chance of getting accepted.

And then, what do I find in my junk e-mail box today but an e-mail from the prof saying I made it in. Good thing I checked my junk mail.

A list of accepted students was supposed to be available yesterday and I had been phoning the English department constantly to see if I had made it. Of course, every time I phoned I got a recorded message saying the lady who answers the phones was away from her desk.

I guess they like keeping the students in suspense. Gets the creative juices flowing. "Did I make it? Did they hate my writing? Did the prof laugh when she saw my stuff?"

What a way to end the month. Now I got to rearrange my schedule but at least the waiting is over.
