So, saw Dodgeball last night and it was good although annoyed they'd showed the hi-larious stuff in previews i'd already seen.

But that's not the point of this rant. the point is they showed a preview for I, Robot first....and of course, they gave the ENTIRE plot, twists and all, away in it. I was seething!

If they do this for serenity, I swear I will have a fit in the theater! When will the advertising people in hollywood realize that we don't like to know everything in a movie!!!

I, Robot(which has little to do with Isaac Asimov's I, Robot) -> 20th Century Fox

The Stepford Wives -> Paramount and Dreamworks

I will have to agree with you that movie previews are not accomplishing what they are intended to do, intrigue you to see the film, to find out what happens.

It depends on the movie studio.

I don't remember which studio was which, but I do recall they gave away every last second of "The Stepford Wives" as well.

Whoever "they" is.
