Big Damn Hugs
Tuesday, October 3, 2006

Well, the move is over, the house is empty...well, it's still full of all my stuff, but I think you know what I mean. I have a lot of cleaning and rearranging to do before the house is really "mine", but I am looking forward to that; especially turning the basement into a cross between the Maidenhead and Inara's shuttle!

I want to thank each and every one of you for being family. I never in a million years expected the kind of support offered by the Browncoats. You truly are a family to me, and I really think it would have been almost impossible to get through the past month without knowing you were here with support, Mudder's Milk and strawberries, and most of all, a shoulder and an ear for me. Browncoats truly are the shiniest people in the 'Verse. Thank you all!

I don't get to talk to you as much as I'd like to Tristan, but I've been aware of your recent rough patch and although I've spoken about it only once, like everyone else here on our shiny ship... you can always turn to me if you need someone to talk to. I'm glad you're hanging in there.. I've been in a similar spot in my life and it ain't easy.. but life does go on, and it does get better. You deserve all the best.. remember that. You're a good man, a great Browncoat and a fine friend to all of us here. We're happy to extend the same love back. :-)

Yep, Browncoats are the shiniest, ain't they?
I had lots of virtual shoulders to cry on during my recent rough spot concerning a job.
Enjoy having the house to yourself and doing whatever you ruttin' please for awhile!

I wish you all the best with this. There's definitely good pieces to be found out of dark times like this. Enjoy making the place your own - you may surprise yourself.

You know we're always here for you. You are very special to me and a whole lot of other browncoats on this board. Anything you need, be it hugs, a sounding board, or a pat on the back, we'll provide.

Love ya! Deb

We're glad to stand beside you, Tristan. Lord knows that all of us have had one moment or another where having a cadre of supporters wouldn't have gone amiss;)
