I'm in the market for a vanity license plate.

I want one REALLY badly! I was thinking about having mine say "VERA21" I wonder if it's taken already? Anyway, I think I'll ask at the DMV when I go to get my full license three days! I wonder how much coin I'll have to drop to get a vanity plate?

Well, that's all for now,
Off to go thinking about the vanity plate I'll have to wait five or more years to get!

Well...here in the lovely Canuckistani province of Ontario, a vanity plate is a mere $100-$200, depending on if you go merely letters or get the optional image to go with it;)

Would presume about $50-$100 US for a vanity plate, personally...

You live in Maryland?
Well, I can tell you that Shiny and Firefly are both taken- I checked with DMV on that. They also won't let me have Gorramn or Gorrammit - Call you local DMV and if you get someone nice, they'll check for you. I had to call 3 times before I got someone who would run words thru the 'puter. There is no internet check on MD's DMV website to check for personalized plates. Good Luck!

I wish I could help with an idea of how much it would cost. I do know that when I was in Va/DC my vanity plate twas not expensive :) And I doubt Vera21 will be taken. I am having good thoughts!

To Cozen: Yep, full blooded American!If you live in Maryland, then yeah, it's doable, but I'd prefer that one of my fellow Browncoats didn't have to go to jail just for my vanity plate!

Right. Here's the plan.

I commit a crime. Preferably one that involves some sort of destruction of a Rupert Murdoch entertainment holding. During the criminal court case I'll represent myself in order to facilitate a quick conviction. While in prison, I'll sign up for the pennies per hour vocation of licence plate making. I figure I can whip up a "GLAUROX" plate.

Um, hopefully I'll pull the jurisdiction that's in your state -- assuming yer an American, lol!

This is doable!
