When Disc's go bad...
Tuesday, November 21, 2006

Yep, my orignal Firefly DVD Set has clonked it. (both the first and second ones are problomatic)

Put it in a DVD player and it starts f*cking up (freezing, jumping, etc). Not good when you hand it too your Western/Joss Whedon/Sci Fi loving relative who's never heard of it before...

still, thing has been passed around a few different people in the past year, so it had too happen eventually..

That, and Number 2 is already on its way!!!!

HUZZAH!!!!

Yep...it's a good sign...lots of watching and enjoying that's been had;)

Still...wonder if someone should come up with some sort of little nod or ceremony when the disks have to be retired after a long service life. Flags get burnt to ash...but inhaling toxic plastic fumes sucks donkey wang:(

I usually demand a small deposit, like an ear or a hand, before I loan out my Firefly DVD. Okay, so I never loan them out. I'm more protective of that DVD set than I am of any other. It stays in my room at all times. I have a slightly damaged copy I receved on-line that stays in the living room with the other movies. But that's it.

NOSADSEVEN

We bought a bottle of stuff at a game store to fix scratched discs. It worked wonders on many of our abused, non-functioning discs.

Hey any excuse to buy a new copy:) Though maybe you should have 2 copies ( 1 for you and 1 for the loaner copy)
