Well, its my first Christmas/birthday/Hanukkah (ain't life great in a mixed marriage family) away from home, and I think I'm overbaking to compensate. thus far I have made a birthday cake, bourbon balls (with a VERY nice bottle of Jim Beam - the only kentucky whiskey I could find in all of east anglia... well, cambridge), and banana bread. Up tomorrow are fudge, pancakes, and anything else I have ingredients for. Who's going to eat all of this?? The grad building I live in is deserted. I've already given a batch of bourbon balls away to the porters (the fantastic guys who guard the college/generally fix all problems). Ah, well, I could use the extra calories. Being a starving grad student has begun to take its toll. No kidding, all of my pants are hanging off me. Other than that, I'm just eagerly awaiting the UK Sci-Fi marathon of the Firefly eps at the end of the week.
