I'm still out here. Do you know how difficult it is to manage a shopful of bloody customers this near Xmas when your head is full of visions of Jayne in bathing trunks? Sorry, had to share that. (Some of the other pictures in my head are all mine, though ) Still nominally in charge, still not being paid for it. And - joy - it's panto season, and we're next door to a theatre. Little anklebiters licking the windows each morning. Lovely.

Still...house. Money pit trashed - how could we devastate a heavily pregnant vendor this near Xmas? Quite easily, lady, get your gorram damp course fixed before you try doping more suckers, dong ma? New house lined up, hopefully end of Jan, and it still has a good office with broadband.

Therefore, for anyone still interested, there will be more Cold Comfort Mountain, Zen II and some crackfic. It's drafted, it just needs an outlet. And for the writer to have more than three hours sleep. I have developed a nervous tic in the presence of stilton.

I'm quite looking forward to it, actually. Proper writing time in a space specifically designed for it. Who knows what I might come up with?

Sorry to hear about the money pit...but at least you got another abode lined up. Gotta look at the bright side...however small it might be;D
