I got a new computer today. Yesterday my old, '99 piece of crap randomly stalled out every five minutes so I had to wait until it caught up to keep typing. My clock was even slow, so I had to keep rebooting every couple of hours to keep the thing alive. Now I'm typing on my new computer. This is nice.

Funny, how it only takes five years for something to be so outdated, and also ginormous. My new computer is so much smaller.

I'm laptop shopping and some friends of mine have shown me their old ones--128megs of RAM, 10g hard drives, floppy drives, less than five years old, and typically about $2500. I'd almost bet your sleek new one cost less than the old one.
