I'm sure I'll find lots of stuff to busy myself with. If any of you can answer this though - what happened to the IRC server? Can't seem to connect to it at all.

As to answer the location question - I live in the southern part of Germany. Bavaria, to be exact, right in the middle between Nuremberg and Munich. Got a small appartment there and generally enjoy my life as a student of the English language and literature.

I usually avoid frequenting German boards though, if only for the fact that hanging out there won't help me with the language at all. So there, I'm a bit picky on that part. Guess I'll be fine here. And if English fails us we can always curse a little more in Chinese. *g*

Welcome Solan! I've been a member less than a year myself and can say this is the friendliest bunch of folk around! Settle in and get comfortable. Lots to read up on and take in, I know! If you've a mind to, vote once every hour for firefly as the best tv show ever at richlabonte.net/tvvote. It's a poll that probably doesn't mean a whole lot but a bunch of us are commited to having Firefly #1. A few months back we were way down at 7th or 8th; now we're #3!
