The Tudyk Clone
Thursday, July 15, 2004

So I thought I would start my first log entry (Captain's log, stardate...ooh, sorry, I guess I'm looking forward to the Jean-Luc Picard DVD collection due out August 3) and mention how I came to join FFF.net, um, last week.

Doesn't it suck when you love something and no one else you know has an interest in it? You're excited about something and people haven't a clue.

Well, the reason I came here last week is because I was getting off a NJ Transit bus at Port Authority (I commute from NJ to New York City every day) and there walking next to me, was a guy in a business suit that could have been Alan Tudyk's twin . Really. It was uncanny how much this business dude resembled Mr. Tudyk.

I had to tell someone! It was so cool! But nobody I know cares, so I came to the board.

I admit I stared at the poor guy while we were walking to the escalator. He was wearing sunglasses that made him look like his was about to pilot a fighter jet, or a starship.

Of course, reality tells me that Mr. Tudyk was in California filming, but now when I get off the bus every day I keep my eyes open, hoping to see this guy again.

The only thing better than a Tudyk clone, besides the real Alan, would be a Baldwin clone. Or a Fillion clone. Or a Staite clone. Or clones of the whole lot of them!

Now I know why camera phones were invented (which I will still claim it's uselessness but I digress).

See if you can get a pic.
