Comic-Con: Before

This afternoon I'm going down to the convention center to try to register myself and my Wife for Saturday and Sunday. I called their hotline and they said I can do that, hopefully the volunteer I talked to knew what she was talking about! Should save us a lot of aggravation getting in, especially on Saturday.

The news on this just kept getting better and better as the con got closer:
First: Joss will be there, possibly comic related, possibly Serenity.
Second: Yes it will be Serenity related!
Third: Some, possibly all of the cast will be there (from Adam)
Fourth: Official! All of the cast, plus Joss, plus Chris, plus others will be there. Plus! sneak peak of filming so far!
Fifth: Free give-aways at the signing afterward!
Sixth: Who knows what could happen?

"May you live in interesting times." Most of the time I consider that to be one of the worst curses you can fling at another person, but this weekend I'm actually looking forward to 'interesting times'.

Seems the volunteer was right. I had to wait until 6:30, but I got badges for myself and Cathy. Tomorrow we get to waltz right in while ignoring any huge lines waiting to register!
