Maybe I mistook my interpretation of a kiss that seemed so sincere, I'll have to find other means of gratification, if that's all it was to you dear.
I had a delusion of being beautiful, your look didn't help.(Can you hear me?)
Maybe it was just a dream.
But I've reclaimed my place in line, beauty defined.
Dreams of the substancial plague my mind.
Where did I go for all those years?
Buried head first in the grains of sand pouring from your mouth. Hidden in the darknesses collected from my fears.(Can you see me?)
I shall never be the butterfly; emerging gracefully from hiding on a summer's day.
The clouds swirl in patterns too wild for normal connotations.
I'll have to crawl out of somewhere, blurry and different from the time before. When you knew me. When I was consumed with letting you get inside my head. I lost myself in the cancer placed upon me.
Nearly eaten away, parts of me survived.
The strong parts, the forsaken parts.(Can you feel me?)
The parts you promised to kill with affections. But the infection went wrong, the beauty you were so fond of barely survived the oppression of your words.
I had pictured you a net and all I could do was fall.
My Warriors soul never slept like I thought it would. Retiring briefly before being forced into action (Can you touch me?)
I wanted to be a person, you would coax the traits out of me then stomp them down, watch them shrivel and die:
In a way that proved it was a mistake, but you never took it back.
I, stripped of my humanity, will have to recuperate somewhere.
Where my delusions exist and reality fades away. Until the clouds make a sort of sense only I can understand.
