Nathan gets all soapy!

Yeah, I’m talking about Nathan on "One Life to Live" and not Nathan in my bathtub. (But hey, a girl can fantasize! )

Yesterday Nathan’s character, Joey, came back to OLTL-land from (I believe they said) London with his brother (I didn’t catch that guy’s name). He met freaky-older-woman-and-ex-lover Dorian and all of these feelings of lust came rolling back! For those of you who (like me) really don’t watch OLTL (or any soaps at all!), watch this hi-larious clip (http://youtube.com/watch?v=oYGjUXUpHp8) and you’ll learn enough about the whole situation.

Today while sharing a drink with his siblings during the show opener, I nearly died from laughter! One of his sisters asked about his love life, and Nathan/Joey sat on the couch and this look came over his face that is called phase two (aka-"I left the stove on!": http://youtube.com/watch?v=vYl2PgleBrM) in the soap opera book of acting (if there actually is one).

And somewhere during the episode, one of his sisters said that he was “shirtless half the time”. Which, if you look at his resume (http://imdb.com/name/nm0277213/), he often plays characters who end up either shirtless or nekkid!

Loved it, though had to listen on TV band radio. I knew nothing of OLTL and listened for six weeks (at least) to try to get up to speed. There will be no need to taper off. Heh.
Two days of Nathanity is not enough, but we can look forward with breath held to Desperate Housewives and what we can hope will be a good bread-and-butter role pending -- who knows? -- real Art?
