Anniversary ... and thanks!

It's 9.23 am on Saturday 25th August (I'm in the UK) and I've just realised something.

I have been looking back over my uploads, and I've discovered that it is now a year since I began telling my version of Firefly tales. In that time I have written close to one million words (and counting) and killed a number of people! There’s also been a lot of fluff, some hard angst, and laughs aplenty (even if it is only from folk finding my grammar sometimes amusing). There's even been some sex!

So here’s from me, to you, celebrating a year of the Maya ‘verse, and also to the next year … there’s lots more stories in my head, and if I don’t get them out it could explode. Which could be messy. And I'm not cleaning it up.

Whew! The time warp is speeding up! Hard to believe it's been a year - but it's been fun. You have amazing creativity for storylines and your writing and especially your dialog is delightful. I start my day with your posting, and if I miss it, it's all the more interesting at the end of the day. Thanks so much for taking the time to share these characters with us. It's been an interesting year!

I have recently gone back and read all your work. I can say, without a word of a lie, that you are one of the most talented writers here, or anywhere for that matter. Your stories read just like an episod of Firefly in my head. You can picture every story just like it was happening in front of you. Happy anniversary and keep up the great writing. You always make (or angsty break!) my day! And hey, can Jayne have a little happy on soon? Just wondering!
