welcome aboard my firefly - please wander through the blogs/rooms

WORKING FOR THE MAN -
a series of very short pieces from the alliance point of view.
we never see much of alliance life - and F.F. and BDM show very different sides to the alliance.

i'll kick off BUT, please - i want other other people to join in - YES it's a COLLABORATIVE project idea! Each person can contribute a piece, keep it brief, just use the title 'working for the man'. apart from that, the alliance 'verse is your oyster... If no/one posts then i’ll continue the idea in my blog.

So it has to be that, I think – I should never have made the request, the – no, I won’t swear, I’m better than that – my uniform proves something.
I’m sorry Roze. You have to bare the real brunt of my punishment, because... make no mistake, that’s what THIS is.
My ship is full of human rejects – down in the hold, gifted rejects I’m told. From the Fruition Centre. Remember we thought of sending Danni there?
Well, it’s closing down – we’ve had to take the kids off-world, theyre... damaged. Won’t talk to us – one tried a suicide display in the night. All we hear is crying and moaning – as if, how could they throw such an opportunity away? Education – it’s the most precious gift the Alliance has..
So here they are. Here we all are. The Blue Sun Corps informs us that an Empathic specialist will be available for use, for hire, in three months. Until then, darling, we are forced to sail in circles round this end of region no-zone, not even the Reavers bother with.

Wytchcroft, check out the Special Branch thread and the Sereni-Tree threads. They are the same concept.

Collective story telling. Sereni-Tree tends to be a bit more whimsical while Special Branch darker. Both are excellent reads.

Give me a heads up. I might be able to contribute a bit, if you'll have me.
