The places I never thought I'd go...

...I go for Browncoats. this month is was Atlanta, of all the crazy places. Why is one of the biggest geekfests in Atlanta? And why are so many 'coats drawn there? I don't know, but there I was. Those who've read my blogs know what a blast I had. And no one tried to burn me at the stake!

Next month, Houston. Yeah, me in Texas. Who thought they'd ever see the day? But again, going for Browncoats. Not only is one of my best Browncoat buddies from overseas taking a trip there, but Houston has a really active bunch of Browncoats, so there will be shindigs! I'm in serious 'coat/huggle withdrawl after D*C, so I'm excited to go!

And what's next? Australia. A place I never thought I'd go not because it just wasn't my kind of place, but because it's so far away. No idea when I'll manage it, but it's next on my list, and with the help of some incredible people I know I'll get there. It's dauntingly expensive, but I'm still determined.

you will LOVE australia! been there a few times myself and planning a trip in a year (yeah, it takes me that long to save up - nothing but empathy on that 'dauntingly expensive' comment!)...oh, phoenixrose, darling, when ya get there, have a VB on me!!!!
