How to treat a woman... (lovely little quote from a book I'm reading)

Hey all, just ran across this little segment and I found it to be very true to how I feel when it comes to women... please note, there is some foul language in this quote... you HAVE been warned!!!

"Now let's move on to the subject of how a real man treats his wife. A real man doesn't slap even a ten-dollar hooker around, if he's got any self-respect, much less hurt his own woman. Much less ten times over the mother of his kids. A real man busts his ass to feed his family, fights for them if he has to, dies for them if he has to. And he treats his wife with respect every day of his life, treats her like a queen-the queen of the home she makes for their children."

Now I realise that last line may be a bit sexist, but you get the general idea... and this is totally true of how I feel.

hmmm I would add the corollary that a real woman treats her husband with respect, understand his needs and does her best to meet them, is patient when he needs it, understand that it takes two to argue and two to love and always makes sure she tries to argue with love. Finally a real woman makes a home a happy safe harbor where she, her husband, and her children can go and feel supported, loved and complete.
