Save Joss Whedon!
Saturday, December 15, 2007

My dad and I sat down and thought about it. Why does Joss keep working for Fox? I mean honestly they killed what was one of the most masterfully written shows. The slaying of Firefly is equatable with the slaying of art itself.

So why does Joss work for the Empire that slayed his golden child? Well we figured it out.Fox can't let Whedon go. He is too brilliant. If they allow him to work for another network they will be overwhelmed by their competition. Not even the likes of the Simpson's or Family Guy could save them if Joss worked elsewhere. So, Fox has something on Mr. Whedon. Blackmail perhaps? Maybe they control every aspect of his life... who knows but Fox has got something that is controlling the brilliant Mr.Whedon.

But why would they shoot down a show that was so wonderful, so majestic, so magnificent? Well if they let such a popular show air, Whedon might gather such a following that he could free himself from their evil clutches.

I'm telling you, there is somethign maniacle about Fox. So Fox, beware, because when I make my way into coporate America I am digging up the dirt on your scummy asses. You'll regret the cancellation of Firefly.

Usually a studio contracts for more than one series...so he's probably under contract of some kind... or those blue hand guys wiped his mind or something

I wouldn't be too surprised if he ends up moving somewhere else either.

Aye, he is probably under contract, but I couldn't help but go over board with this post. I just hope when his contract expires he doesn't make the same mistake twice and sign on again.
