Cosmicfugitive, nice piece of work. I can see a goodly amount of skill and much effort in your drawing. I too enjoy the relaxation of fiddling with pencil and sometimes paint, and there are quite a few talented people on this very site. I know it may sound kinda funny but when I make up my mind to sit down and render an image on paper I put a lot of effort and hard work into it, so saying that dabbling in artwork is relaxing is kinda a strange thing to say. Anyway time is not a friend when it comes wanting to produce more art projects than I actually do. When I do sit down to draw it’s usually time I’m taking from doing something else that should be done. There are several art sites on the web that I frequent just to keep inspired and up on what a whole lot of other artists around the world are doing. There are many, many samples of pencil work just as yours there and I’ll post a link at the bottom if you care to check it out. I’ve always been amazed at how people create a living, breathing thing on a blank piece of paper or canvas. Just as I’m amazed at the skill of a talented writer(s) that bring visual images to life with the written word.
