It's a good year to be a Montreal Canadiens fan!

The Habs just gave the Rangers a taste of their own medicine as they erased a FIVE GOAL deficit to come away with the big W (no Habs team has ever done this before, and there's been some pretty good ones). Ladies & menfolks, that was a game for the ages. Alex Kovalev's tying goal with 13 minutes left... Huet stoning both Shanahan and Jagr (who had 4 assists in the game... asle) in the shootout... Koivu mystifying the Ranger's tender and nailing the game-winner... Damn, I should've taped it.

NHL teams beware, the Habs are for real and they're coming to get ya!

Well... I don't know about the Bambino, but Patrick Roy asked to be traded because he wasn't getting along with his coach. They didn't jerk him off for money or anything unsavory like that... He just walked out. If anything, he's the one who should be cursed!

Plus, we don't believe in curses up here in MTL 8-)

Unfortunately the Habs are cursed in the same fashion the Red Sox were until recently. The Sox traded the Bambino and suffered one of the longest championship droughts in sports history. The Canadiens have just started reaping the rewards of trading all world goltender Patrick Roy.
