So she finally got married. How's that make you feel ?
Monday, June 30, 2008

When you find out an ex g/f of yours whom you were in love with for a fair amount of time , but have long since gone your separate ways, finally gets married... it does play w/ the mind a bit. There was no question as to whether she'd get married, quite the catch, but only who. And when.

Why is it some doors in our past are so easy to close, yet others simply will not shut ? And it's far worse when it's a completely one side affair. As in, the ex may still show up in your dreams , maybe not very often, but in very vivid and emotional manner.

Maybe definitaly knowing is the best thing. Might not feel like it, but over time, the subconscious can proccess it out and slowly close that door for good, and hopefully open a few more.

Sure hope so. It sorta sucks right about now.

True. Time does heal all wounds, at least to a small degree.

Mine was fixed when I was thrown into a situation with his wife a few weeks after they married, and we quickly became good friends. I never told her that I dated her husband before before they met. I figured that should be his responsibility. Besides, I soon realized that she was a better match for him than I.

Thanks. Saw 'High Fidelity' a while ago, decent flick. Dunno than anything ,other than time, can 'fix' this.

*hugs* I sorta went through this last year. Rent 'High Fidelity' with John Cusack and Jack Black. It deals with the same sorta thing you're going through. And, if that doesn't make you feel better about your ex, Jack will at least make you laugh.
