As a good Browncoat, I bought a copy of Quantum Mechanix's Map of the 'Verse, drawn by Geoffrey Mandel. Fascinating to see his version, with multiple systems orbiting a number of stars.

Then I started to read the names of the planets. And there, as a moon of Brisingamen in the Red Star system, was Freya . Now, as a lot of you know, Freya is the name of my OC, and I've been writing about her and the crew for a while now, and I haven't come across any other mention of that name in connection with, well, anything. So does this mean that Geoffrey Mandel or some of the other researchers lurk on this site? Or maybe over at fanfiction.net?

I'd love to think that the moon is named after my character, but I'm not sure how to find out. If I do, I'll keep you posted.

One way or another, it was really cool to see my character's name on the official map of the 'verse!

Definately email Andy Gore, he responds to every single email.

Also, during the presentation and Burbank, they did mention that they got some names from fanfiction...I thought they meant planet names people came up with but since your Freya stories have been going on for a long time and are pretty epic, I bet you anything they decided to honour your OC!!!!

So wicked!
