Relfexive was on Jimmy Kimmel
Thursday, March 5, 2009

Jimmy Kimmel showed Nathan a few pictures of fans that dress in costume. One of the Mal pictures was of Relfexive. I know it was Rel. He has an awesome Mal costume. Can anyone back me up on this?

Yeah, Jimmy was trying to make fun of us and the guys in the pictures, but Nathan liked Rel's coat. I got so excited. I sat up straight and said, "Holy crap, that's Rel!" Of course no one was around to hear me, but I said it.

He was always awesome around these parts. If anyone sees him around, make sure to tell him he made his television debut. He's a good guy.

That's freaky that his picture has been on US TV and he may never know. I met him a few times at conventions and he was always charming and good company. Alas, now a lesser spotted Browncoat. Sigh.

I've had the honour of meeting Relf once, at a Starfury convention in London. In person, a very shy sort, though, given his pix art posts, more outgoing online. My take was that Relf was/is a massive supporter of the Browncoat cause, in a way that I've found most -- including my ownself -- just play to sometimes, but that he really means it.

I'm a Relflexive fan. In the sense that: you carry me, brother!

So what if neither of us was given to the musical chairs disco dance numbers. I admire his quiet yet solid devotion to the bigger picture.

I'd really like another chance to buy Relf another pint or 10 of Guinness, or whatever libation he prefers. Maybe this 2nd time I could do it right, such that we could get deeply into the Browncoat 'verse, and not so much into my own pathetic agenda of getting laid with the awesome cutie travelling with me.

Thanks for what you've contributed to the 'verse, brother. Though it shames what little I've done, I'm on your side.

Cool!

"Dude, you don't want to (bleep!) with the Browncoats. They're cheering a show that's not even on." -- Kevin Smith.
