Three of them. Big as my fist! Probably the best I've ever tasted, too.

Are they in season or something? Too early around here. And how'd they get so big, growth hormones?

Anyway, thought I'd give the heads up, some of you might also have some monster tasty strawberries at your nearest grocer.

California strawberries are just coming in during late April, so you might have had one of those...they're quite good, I wait all winter for them.

We have Giant ones at the market today also, and they were sweet. They are from CA it must be season for them now even though they grow them all year.

June, maybe? Or July?

I'll keep a close watch. You can usually tell when there's a change in the supplying region, the quality of the produce declines then spikes up again.

I wonder where they're coming from now? Florida or California, maybe.

Strawberries are sorta late around here because of the cool, wet spring. But just wait, eastern NC strawberries are sooooo good.

Also: I rescued a cat from the animal shelter today. He's really affectionate and kind of a light gold.
