Writing and Updates - Again

I'm in the middle of finals week here at college. I've written a little bit in my spare time, though I really am looking forward to the summer when I'll have more free time to write.

The sequel to "Keeping On" was supposed to be around 15 chapters. But, since I looked over the outline and what I had written so far, I saw that it's really two stories in one and so it's getting cut into two stories. This is a relief for me, certainly. Also, the sequel should be finished relatively soon.

I have a little story set in the Keeping On 'Verse that isn't a sequel at all, but fits in. It's called The Serenity Book Club and I kind of love it. Basically it's me making fun of myself and my writing via Simon, Lilah, and probably Mal and Inara in later installments. It's nothing to be taken seriously and I just have fun writing it. :D

Ooh! I love that book club idea!

That kind of thing is right up Simon and Inara's alley (Lilah seems nice and pretty smart, probably her alley too (: ). Plus Inara can supply the necessary tea and biscuits.

And then I can only imagine the utter chaos when Mal hears of it and wants to butt in. Oh. Going to be SO GOOD.
