I have done that before. I've left stickynotes on the vending machines when they were being particularly stubborn. I'd also like to leave a message for whoever keeps intentionally stomping on all the snails on the sidewalk. It's mean and it makes a horrible disgusting mess, because then they dry up up in the heat...
