I'll post a few more updates when I get more news, it's hard not to be happy for the guy when something actually goes right for him.

Ha, that's probably like a huge mood swing compared to just an hour ago, it just, it kind of puts things into perspective for me, I guess. He only told me about the surgery Tuesday and how he didn't think he'd be able to get it in time, and the last two days I've been feeling pessimistic about a lot of things.

Everyone gave me a lot of good ideas here, and the Social Security people basically said the same thing, he qualifies for Federal disability, so he doesn't have to put up with being rejected by Oklahoma's state government, which he tells me they're notorious.

He was denied before, but he just thought he had really bad asthma, with this new development about him having an atrophied lung, he's pretty much a shoe-in.
