Okay.
Shiny new job went poof the day after Thanksgiving.
New job is not so shiny, but pays.
Isn't there an old adage about not mentioning your good fortune?

It's the bleak midwinter here, cold and snowy. Pretty much standard fare for this neck of the woods.

The muse is not interested in furthering my fanfic, and I'm still OK with that for now. She knows where to find me if she changes her mind.

I've got some decisions to make about work and going back to school and how much of which, and what and where. You know, trivial things that don't affect the family at all..


I need to learn some appropriate Mandarin.
