Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement! I won't give up on Masks - I'll let it take me where it will, but be assured it will only be a chapter or two before something big happens. Explosions. Swearing. Vera. Jayne in a dress. (Well, maybe not the last one. Although ... Okay, I'm now not going to be able to get that image out of my head for some time ... better just enjoy it then!)

So stay tuned, or adjusted, or whatever ... more will come. Just trying to decide who to kill off ...

Unless you kill off the bad guys. No open season on good guys unless you give fair warning with lots of foreshadowing and blatant hints - some of us still miss wacky pilots who wore Hawaiian shirts. And as you proved so well previously, you are very good at making us like an entire crew of people and then killing them off as a plot device.
