Ya know, if the whole thing was just for me, I'd say, Ok, let's forget about it, there never will be any shindig organized by me here.

But I'm wanting this for someone else. That's why it hurts so much.

For her, it is easy to say: Go talk to the chaplains or call here and there. Her husband is active duty and she has a whole array of ressources at ther fingertips that I don't have.
She has been in the newspaer, in (local) radio and (local) tv of AFN Kaiserslautern. She doesn't need me to do her thing, but she knows, I am on my own and need a little help.

I am just a middleaged local national wanting to do something based on an obscure tv show she has never heard of, basically intruding her territory, which is the hospital.

She recommends having my fellow browncoat working at the hospital setting it all up, but it seems that either the alliance snatched him, or he's tdy or just plain lost interest as there are only the two of us, I have no idea.

Hurts.

Will start looking in some other avenues when I get back home.
