Beautiful and moving. A fitting tribute to one of the most poignant parts of the movie.

good work, very emotive, the likenesses are great....would have liked to see a little more depth in the shadows but very nice.....

Once again, coming through with that great eye for tone. Especially the texture in Mal's shirt and Book's face. And I really like how Mal's suspenders blend.

Wow.

One of the most powerful ones so far, IMHO.

Having done paintings myself, I consider myself an artist, but your work, espesh this one, makes me feel all manner of insignificant....in the best way possible.

Cheers and many kudos, as always.

A man of few words you may be, Phil, but one of the best, without a doubt. Love everything you do, love this more because it's a favorite scene.

This just made me think of 'Not Fade Away,' with Fred/Illyria and Wesley...that'd make an awesome pic too...

Ohh, my heart just stopped. :tears in eyes: This is so incredibly sad. I sometimes think your works have more emotional impact than the screenshots themselves.

The screenshots capture a moment in film; your drawings honor those scenes and turn them into something more than just moments. It does them the justice they deserve by taking the time and the care and the love to set them aside and make them something special.

By the way...I know you are probably flooded with requests and all, but I've found an absolutely wonderful shot of Mal that I'd be in heaven if you decided to draw. His eyes have the most wonderful expression in it, and you are so good at drawing those deep, soulful eyes of his. Here's a link:
