I haven't commented on any of your amazing work before (even though I've seen them all), but now's the time. GREAT work. A touching scene, lovingly rendered. Strangely, my eyes are drawn to the background - that little alcove adds such a true depth to the image I feel like I want to stroll back there and see what's around the corner. Whatever job with the comics you're trying for (I'm a little lost on what exactly it is) I sure hope you get it.

I, like Tiger, haven't commented on your pictures (If I recall correctly). As such, I would like to say I love your work, and there's not much more I can say in better words than that they are all lovely and beautiful pieces. Please keep creating such breathtaking images, and if there ever was an art showing for Science-Fiction, Firefly, Serenity, or charcoals of any kind, I believe you would shine out amongst all others.

Spectacular work!

Fred and Wesley... there isn't a more tragic plot in all of Whedon's works.
Nicely done, mphillips.

Thanks ,guys, I really think Whedon hit his marks with this last Wesley scene. No other death of a fictional character had the same effect on me than this one did, bar none... Perhaps because Wes had been put through so much in the series..

I don't know... Kosh I's death in B5 still hits me like a hammer between the eyes, but this is a close second.

Thanks for the kudos, Phil...you are and always will be a god like one us.

Wesley's death is probably my favorite Angel scene, along with Doyle's video. (hint, hint!)

Hm... y'know? Looking at that scene out of the show's supernatural context really makes it look like the end of a film noir detective movie. Especially the way you've drawn it.

This really makes me want to cry. Wes is my favorite...
