She used to close her eyes,
To make it fall away.
She'd dream of the times of good,
The times they once made.
She would think about what she wanted one day,
Of the dreams she hope to fill.
She would pray for peace of heart,
And the way to heal theirs.
She use to close her eyes,
When the world was cruel.
She used to try to hide,
From her painful world.
She doesn't hide anymore,
She closed her eyes for good.
