BLUE SUN ROOM FILK
Well, this'll prolly be my last post for a week or so (Vacation, yadda yadda). Angsty poem, like usual. Read it and weep (or not).
CATEGORY: FILK TIMES READ: 1820 RATING: 0 SERIES: FIREFLY
I saw you, lost in Eternity,
And it was I who called you back,
And then I said, in Love,
That I'd do anything you asked.
But you asked the one thing I cannot do,
To be your Hero, and all I knew,
Was lost to all you put me through.
Ask of me to be your Everything,
Ask me to fall for forever,
But I will not be your Hero,
And cast you to the Lands of Ever.
For a Hero would cast you asunder,
A Hero would stop your breath,
As a Hero I would be your Forever,
For Forever is known as Death.
I am not known by my bravery,
For I have never killed a man,
But e'er I am known for my courage,
For I would gladly, for you, go to Death.
Am I a coward for Dieing?
If so, than I shall be glad for release.
Am I a coward for not trying?
Then let Death take me to Eternity.
I saw you in the ether,
And you saw my tears in Heaven,
But I will be with you, not for forever,
For I cannot be your Hero.
Ask me to be your Everything,
And I would be your all,
And ask me to be your life and love,
And I would follow you into forever.
For I will not be your Death.
