Jayne was cleaning his guns when he felt a soft body press up behind him, hands snaking round to cover his eyes.

“Ya ready for ya birthday treat?” she whispered.

He nodded, a smiled slowly spreading across his face.

“First you’ll need this.” She said, slipping a blindfold over his eyes.

He grinned as she led him up and down walkways ‘till he was all turned around. He couldn’t tell where they were.

The he heard the door shut and the click of the lock.

She pushed him down so he was sitting on, was it a bed or a couch? He slipped his arms around her waist, pulling her close before she pulled away, pressing an opened-mouthed kiss to her eager lips.

She laughed. “Slow down there, cowboy!”

He listened to her preparing his treat.

He felt her straddling his lap, something cold against his lips. He groaned, savouring the vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce melting in his mouth.

As she fed him a second mouthful, he pressed his lips to hers, giving her an ice-cream kiss. She giggled, slipping the blindfold off.

His eyes widened, seeing the enormous ice-cream sundae he had made her.

They shared the treat, slipping spoonfuls into each others mouths, and swapping kisses. Nothing was wasted, as Jayne quickly licked any drips off Kaylee’s skin.

As they got to the end, Jayne dipped his fingers in the bowl, Kaylee licking them clean.

He raised his eyebrows, saying, “Ya got any chocolate sauce left?”

Kaylee nodded, grabbing the bottle as Jayne swept her up, taking her back to their bunk.
