Jayne kicked the blood covered dusk up and looked at his new home. This was his third crew in seven months. He wandered if that said anything about his character. “Nah…” Jayne decided it was the pay not his character. This new boat looked dirty and disreputable, just the way he liked it. The idiot captain stood in top of the ramp waiting for him. Jayne looked him up and down. “This man is gonna git me shot.” He thought as he walked up to the ramp. “Welcome aboard.” Mal said with a big Chester cat grin on his face. “Yeah, where’s my bunk?” Jayne noticed the woman coming down the stairs. It was the same woman that he had held up early. He couldn’t remember her name, so he decided he was going to call her Glenda. “Sir, Badger just waved us, said he got a job for us.” Glenda said. The captain pushed the button to close the airlock doors. Jayne was barely in, so he had to jump forward a bit if he didn’t want to get pinched in the butt. Speaking of butts Jayne noticed how Glenda’s butt switched back and forth as she walked away. She had a glorious rump that he had to get to know later. As she walked up the stairs another woman came down them. She was dressed all fancified and she looked real clean. “Mal I hope that we are going some where that I can screen some respectable clients. It’s been a week since we’ve been anywhere descent.” The pretty lady said. Jayne looked her up and down. She even smelled pretty. He stood up straight and tried to look impressionable. “Inara this is Jayne our new…our new gun. Jayne this is Inara she’s a companion.” Jayne’s face lit up like Christmas morning. “Hell I would of settled for 5% if I knew there was a whore aboard.” Mal smiled and Inara just rolled her eyes. “Oh, Inara don’t grapple with the crew, part of her addendums. She just gets us into places that normally wouldn’t cater to the likes of us.” Jayne’s looked a bit disappointed. He watched as the pretty whore floated away. Just when Jayne had his fill of pretties another little young thing bounced out another door. “Hiya I’m Kaylee.” Kaylee stretched out her hand to Jayne. Jayne just looked at it. It was dirty and covered in some black stuff. “Jayne.” Normally Jayne liked them young so that he could break them in, but something about this girl that rubbed him the wrong way. She was too damn cheery. Jayne hated cheery. “C’mon. I’ll show you around Serenity. She’s a real fine boat.” Jayne was jerked by cheery, bubbly, girlie, girl. She dragged him into the kitchen where the other two woman where sitting at the table. “I’m just showing Jayne around.” Jayne gave a half hearted grin to the woman. Glenda with the fine ass and the very big gun, E-nara the fancy whore, and Kaylee the bubbly one then his grin grew wider. “I think I’m gonna like it here.”
