Mindseye,

I must say, with your recent postings, you have come a long way in improvement from your first piece. I love what you did here, the concept; with the River picture--very creative, almost can work as a book cover or better yet, a fic cover. Even as a splash page. I must say I'm curious at where you are learning to do this, i.e any good tutorials(PS) you can throw my way? I'm always eager to learn more. But Bravo and looking forward for more.---Cassie E

MINDSEYE

Cassandrae,

Thank you for the kind comments. I have been playing with Photoshop and other graphics programs for years now. When I get an idea, I start by filling the page with more levels of "stuff" than I know what to do with and then start cutting away until I get what was in my mindseye. Sometimes I rush myself and the page looks cluttered like the (It's time to meet Mr. Cobb) picture. I also agree that it was lacking serious focus and was "crap" as someone put it LOL!

As far as tutorials, just do a goggle search for "Photoshop Tutorials" and you will find there many.

The best advice is to just play around with all the features in whatever piece of software you are using and see happens. I've made piles and piles of "crap" for every few pieces I enjoy.

This is a really cool concept and well-executed.
