I've been writing a series of poems based on Beauty and The Beast, this is the first one.

Until your heart is filled,
And you fill another in return.
Until she gives herself willingly,
And pledges to your side,
Knowing all the sins and consequences,
And the pain your life has gained.
Until the holy wedding day,
When loved is pledged true,
Never shall you age or die,
Or leave your prisoned grounds.
Cursed forever to search,
For a wife to lay by your side.
