BLUE SUN ROOM FILK
Here is another poem i would like to submit for the contest
CATEGORY: FILK TIMES READ: 1991 RATING: 9 SERIES: FIREFLY
I can not travel on
And lose the chains and weights
That bog me down
Find relief and rest
From my job, Destiny
Your burdens are mine
And you pile on more each day
I drag them alone
Scrapping against the ground in passing
Ripping up the stone lining
Then the asphalt and concrete
The chains tangle up
Around my ankels and arms
Reminding each day
Of my duty and mission
Stoping advancement
Preventing me from settling down
My strings to be pulled
Cause of the dramatic effect
Keeping me back
From caressing
Or even touching beauty
More added on
From town to town
Pulling me
Dragging me to earth
Until I offer it my affection
Light kisses of appreciation
Chains will still be added even then
Around my neck
Synching my waist
Dragging our life with each addition
Coming closer to the end
Until the earth spreads out and open
Allowing me entrance finally
