This is one of my favorite moments from the series, and you've just captured it perfectly! Look at the longing in Mal's face...so, SO good!

ooooooh. Mal's just like a sad little puppy dog! I just wanna hug him and scratch his ears!!! :)

You continue to amaze and delight mphillips! The technique is so great that I see the characters before I see the artwork, if you know what I mean. It has a fantastic 3D realism to it.

Awwww :) I love it to pieces! The sweet, longing expression on Mal's face is to die for, and it's a pleasure to see one of those lovely, relaxed "Firefly" moments captured. I've always adored this scene, and as usual you took it and made it even better. And yes, it makes me want to kiss Mal. Many things do that, in point of fact, but especially this. GREAT to have you back, Mike!

They look so beautiful together......and his hair, you got the hair perfect! Being a compulsive hair freak that is very important...

Nicely done....

Thanks, all... astute fans will notice that I used two different screen caps to get the feeling I wanted for this piece...I wanted Inara looking off while not really noticing Mal...I don't know it why, but it just felt better this way....

I noticed! :) There's a particular Mal/Inara moment in Shindig, during the dance, that I keep meaning to screencap and show you - a fleeting moment that is just beautiful. What you did here reminds me of that a bit - deeply connected, yet focused apart....if that makes any sense at all.

It's basically this, although I think there's a moment a split second different that comes across better - hence my desire to screencap it myself:
