broken note

CATEGORY: FILK    TIMES READ: 4458    RATING:     SERIES: FIREFLY

you are my cross to bare,

you are the one thing that I can't share,

you bring me down,

when I'm broke,

and you make me high,

with every note,

of a old,

forgotten snare

You only do,

what you want to do,

you only play,

the same old tunes,

and I'm sick of it,

yes I'm sick of you,

but I love you,

oh how I love you

Every time I let you choose,

you break right down,

and we always lose,

the two of us,

yes the two of us,

we programed in,

all the rules,

but you won't abide,

and you call us tools,

but were trying to keep you safe,

and were trying to keep us safe

You only do,

what you want to do,

you only play,

the same old tunes,

and I'm sick of it,

yes I'm sick of you,

but I love you,

oh how I love you

You're beautiful,

beyond compare,

and because of that,

I'm all ensnared,

but you have nothing to say,

because everything goes you way,

your a broken note,

In a broken song,

but you sound so sweet,

that I sing along,

and I try to forget,

how ridiculous you get,

You only do,

what you want to do,

you only play,

the same old tunes,

and I'm sick of it,

yes I'm sick of you,

* but I love you,

oh how I love you* ( ** repeated 4x)

ANOTHERSKY

I wonder who this is.

going in the right direction: "You're a broken note/ in a broken song/but you sound so sweet/that I sing along" fits with the overall tone.
