Utterly shiny! After the crappy night I've just had at work, this was a much-needed laugh!

From the Dedication to "Back From the Black":

This book is dedicated to all the Browncoats around the world who keep the 'Verse alive. We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty.

And a special acknowledgement to Ron Glass, you will forever be our Shepherd.

From the Introduction to "Back From the Black":

Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the Firefly fans that watched the show as it aired. I came to it several years later, I had just moved to a new city for work, and on the way to my desk I'd talk with the office manager about what TV shows I should watch. I didn't watch television for several years, so I had a lot of catching up to do. One Friday morning she handed me a box set of DVD's and said "enjoy your weekend".

It was early afternoon the following day that I'd finished all 14 episodes of Firefly and immediately got in my car and drove down the street to buy Serenity on DVD. Being far away from family and missing my friends, I instantly connected with these characters as if I'd known them my whole life. I couldn't have anticipated what impact that DVD box set would have on my career, but Leah, if you're reading this... sincerely, thank you.

"This poster was a blast to do. I'm a huge Firefly fan, so I wanted to represent the whole saga, which is why I included some things from Serenity. Also wanted to make sure I included some of the more iconic elements of the show. You can't make a Firefly poster without Jayne's cunning hat or Wash dinosaurs! It was a private commission. It's 24 x 36 inches, and it was produced as a 9 inks screenprint."
