I wanted Kaylee brightness. I'm not sure what I did worked, but I think it's pretty ok. The large lyrics are from "Shimmer" and the smaller ones are "Drops of Jupiter". Would it look better without the small Kaylee shot on the left? Lemme know.

Overall it looks pretty good. I think the little picture is okay and you may want to have cropped it a little larger to keep from cutting off the top of her head.

I'm not sure about the Serenity layer though..do you think it warps her face and makes the lyrics too hard to read?

You're definitely learning Photoshop more quickly than I am :)

I like the serenity layer. It makes me happy because you're all like "What's that!" and then you're like "it's serenity!" and people looking over you are like "you're weird!" ... it's all good!

But I am not sure I like the picture in the corner. Maybe either crop it differently (like lochravin said), get rid of it, or (my favorite) give it the same texture (the oil paint effect I think it's called) to it!

Otherwise, this is one shexney shexner! Rock on!

i like the smaller pic in the corner but u might want to try to get a full head shot cuz its kinda cut off at the top.

Isn't Easier Than the Real Thing
So before I'd had a lot of trouble making an Inara wallpaper because she's so beautiful there's no way to do her justice. I worked on this for a spell and realized it very much resembled my other one, but with more frippery. I like the frips, though, so tell me what you think. There's Madonna lyrics and some Sarah McLachlan and even a little stanza of Dido. Enjoy!

Cleveland Browncoats T Shirt
Since I'm going to the Columbus showing and my Zoe costume isn't near finished I decided to put together a little something that expressed my love of Firefly and loyalty to my city.


Born a Lion
Zoe is my favorite character. I wanted something that would speak to her strength while still displaying her beauty. This is what I came up with. The large words are "Born a Lion" (which I'm pretty sure is Ani DiFranco's) and the small ones are "I Am Woman" (which is kind of lame, but works).


Shimmer 2.0
Changed the corner picture so it's got her whole head (the first pic didn't have her whole head in it so it wasn't a bad crop job, just a... lack of the top of her head) and did a little filtering on it too, though it's not as rough as the pic in the background. Any better?
