Saw this the other day & kept staring at it. Watched the series over the weekend an my eyes kept being drawn to this area looking down the hall from the kitchen. Maybe it is maybe it isn't but it's still fascinatingly cool

Actually, the serenity logo is based on the ID tag on the side of the ship. Watch "Serenity" The first ep, and jump to either chapter 5 or chapter 6, its the chapter book meets kaylee. At the very beginning of that chapter theres a side shot of serenity's neck, and if you look closely you can see the seal on the hull.

I know, it's just interesting. Especially with the more metallic current design.

Could be the inspiration for the ID tag. Now I'm just being difficult.
