Serenity- (Robbie Williams, Millenium)

Created a dodgy little filk. First one i've ever really done. Some of the wording is a little sketchy, but i may improve it. TO be sang to the tune of Millenium, by Robbie Williams

CATEGORY: FILK    TIMES READ: 1746    RATING: 7    SERIES: FIREFLY

We’ve got stars but we’ve got no fate

Just keep flying and it’s all great

Serenity

They say that we are petty

That say that we are thieves

But we fought on the right side and that’s just what we believe

We can’t slow down else then we’ll fall down

Run around in circles

Live a life out in the black

Took my faith out to the battle

But it never did come back

We can’t slow down else then we’ll fall down

We’ve got to keep flying around

And we’re better not on the ground

Cos you can’t take the sky from me

Serenity

Sister who is crazy

Preacher with a past

Flirting with companions

It will never last

The hired helps not trustworthy

I know he can be bought

Can’t help enjoy the madness cause I know we’re gonna fly away

We’ve got stars but we’ve got no fate

Just keep flying and it’s all great

Cos you can’t take the sky from me

Serenity

come and have a go cos I do aim to misbehave(X2)

Serenity (x2)

We’ve got stars but we’ve got no fate

Just keep flying and it’s all great

Cos you can’t take the sky from me

Serenity

And when it’s hard it’s always hard to fight

We did impossible and so hence might

Get up and see the disillusion in my eyes (x2)

PHAEDRA

I'm no Robbie Williams fan, except for that video where he strips and then starts tearing his skin and muscel off, that was fun; but I really enjoyed this filk. It was a highly effective celebration of the show and what it stands for. I hope you keep on writing and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, I'll be looking for them.

Phaedra (a bad luck name of an infrequent poster)
