Nice. This is my favorite of your watercolors. How did you get skin color? Watercolor is by far my worst medium so I can't imagine trying to do a person! Is it easier starting with a pencil sketch?

Hey, all. Thanks for your nice comments, people! It's good to be appreciated :)
Browncoatgal: yep, the texturing is just the paper. I like Canson watercolor 350gr rough.
luciddreams: The trick with watercolors is to use liquid ones. They are commercialized under the brand Ecoline and are easier to use. I mixed pink and yellow brown for the skin. And, sure, it's easier to have a pencil sketch first :)

Thanks for the advice! I'll try it but I can't promise that I'll be able to create anything presentable with it. It's amazing how bad I am at watercolors. Anywho, uh, keep up the good work?
