What exactly is a "cosplayer"? I get the costume aspect, but is a cosplayer then someone who is "in costume" and "in character"?

cosplay is a japanise fanboy/girl thing. costume, role-play. Most often its various manga/anime or video game characters. not much for dressing up myself have seen some interesting things done. similar to trekkies dressing up as klingons and such.

The cosplayers were the one of the three main reasons I went to D*C this year and last. Lord love 'em (Especially the ladies). :)

I'm actually quite happy with her pose. I think she did a very nice job of striking River's "Firing Blind" style of gunslinger stance. :)
