I've never commented on one of your pictures before, usually because they're so good I feel everyone else's comments encapsulate my feelings toward them. However, I felt I had to post and say I'm a little dissapointed in this piece. There's no definition on her top meaning she blends into the sofa and even means there's no real seperation between her top and her neck. The face is okay but considering the fantastically beautiful job you did with her in 'River and an object..' it is somewhat of a letdown.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a good piece, but it's definately not your best. I don't suppose it's just a scanner problem?

Oh I *really* love this one...so much conveyed with so few lines, esp. the face and head. Great job!

.unlike cthh, I think the blending adds as opposed to takes away from the piece. making the edges too distinct would ruin the dream-like quality
