BATTLES COME AND GO,

BUT BROWNCOATS REMAIN ETERNAL!

The war has come and gone, yet some re-live it daily

Constantly faced with choices made & lines drawn hard

We lead by example knowing the cost will surely be dear

Without waiting for breath, my quick reply a resounding "Yes!"

It's hard to use a moral compass, in a 'verse so full of greys

Someone still, must stand up tall, for that which is right and fair

For if we back down & accept defeat, we lose a part of ourselves

Regardless of our loss, no matter the personal cost

These daily trials, these battles of old, will always come and go
