This is my first attempt at a Firefly wallpaper (I just added it to the Blue Sun Room). It is available in 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 versions. A zip file with all sizes can be found at http://www.ruizfamily.net/dloads/FireflyWallpaper.zip

hi. I downloaded that zip file and I'm using one of the images for my desktop. Just wanted to let you know, though, that for some odd reason, the picture is "up too high" like off the screen, so the top parts of the upper row of character pictures is cut off and there's a wide border on the bottom. I usually use the 1024x7whatever size but also tried the smaller one, which comes out a BIT better but still cut off. I don't know if this happens with PCs but it's happening with my Mac. Still nice but if there's a solution, I'd appreciate it.

Apologies for diving in and resurrecting threads and such without really looking around.
I've spent a while Googling and this seems to be the most promising and non-time-consuming avenue, anyway.

I'd very much like to use the wallpaper at the start of this thread; however, I'm personally less keen on the pictures along the top and bottom. I can't cut them out because that'd clip the Firefly logo (which I'm ambivalent about, but it's mainly that picture of Serenity that I'm after) - and I'm not good enough at image editing to remove the top part without it looking rubbish.

So!
Does anybody have that particular picture, as it is, on its own, at the same size as the 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 wallpapers here?

That was even faster than I'd expected. Thanks very much!
Um... would you happen to have it in slightly higher resolution than that picture? If not, that one will do fine, since I can just have a black border around it, but if I can have it filling up my whole screen (which is at 1280x1024), that'd be ideal.

If you do, though, then you can either e-mail it to me at godsend.conspirator(at)gmail.com, or upload it to some image hosting site... whichever takes your fancy.

No need for any of that after all - I can expand the picture above in Photoshop without any discernible loss in quality (anything that does get lost just makes it look a bit grittier, which is of course a good thing). So, problem solved; thanks.

And yeah, I may stick around, even if I mostly lurk. It seems like a nice forum. I'm sure I'd have joined up long ago, but as it is I only very recently became a fan. More fool me.

but im trying to design my firefly/serienty tattoo, and im looking for an outline of serienty. prefrably flying, like in the wallpapers you have here.
ive tryed googleing it, but no to avail.
